Following up on Dystopian Builder, I have another list builder to talk about and release. This one is called Warmuster, and it’s for creating Warmaster lists. Unlike Armoured Clash, there is some dedicated competition here with Warmaster Army Selector and Warmaster Companion.
The reason I made this is because we’re having an event this fall, and I needed two things from a list builder:
- Support for custom units
- Exporting as unit cards—we’re going to have new players, so I want each unit to have a card with all its rules on it
Thanks
All of this was done via ChatGPT, Codex, and Claude Code, so, uh, thanks to the AI labs for maybe putting me out of work in a few years. On a more serious note, thanks to Games Workshop and Rick Priestley for this great game. Thanks to the Warmaster Revolution Rules Committee for the loving attention they’ve given the game over the past decades, and thanks to the friends I’m running the event with this fall for signing up for my crazy idea.
Features
Printable Cards

The printable cards were a big motivation behind this. Note that they’re two-sided, and you can change the offset. The default offset is 1 mm because that’s what works for my printer 🙂. Some cards get pretty long, and I specifically made the Giant Goes Wild Chart table split onto a new card because two sides were not enough.
The cards print at the standard American trading-card size, which is the same size as Magic or Pokémon cards, so sleeving them should be easy.
Magic Items and Attached Stands
You can assign magic items to a unit, and they will appear on that unit’s card. Attached stands, such as Skirmishers, will appear as well.
Support for WMR Armies
Currently, this supports Warmaster Revolution. In the future, I’ll consider supporting other army lists if people ask. It also has a second data set containing WMR armies alongside my custom units for the event this September.
Regiments of Renown
You can turn these on with the checkbox at the top. While I suspect there are still some data bugs, it works pretty well for adding Regiments of Renown to another army and handles validation of their slots.
Share Links
You can create share links using the export button. Opening one will add a copy of that list to your Warmuster.
The links are long because there is no central server storing the lists. They’re all stored locally, so the share link lets the app rebuild the list unit by unit.
Upcoming Features
There are certainly bugs to be found and fixed, so please report any issues or other feedback through the site. Someone also quite rightly mentioned that I should add army breakpoints.
I’m also interested in any in-game features that would be useful to include as a printout.
